Artists Anne Tallentire and Cathy Haynes attended a residents consultation meeting on pancake day at St Mary Newington Close to share ideas for artworks they are developing as part of Tenderground.

Anne Tallentire has been commissioned to make a new artwork for Southwark Charities new almshouse on Blackfriars Road opening in 2028, and Cathy Haynes is researching the history of St Mary Newington Close and the surrounding local neighbourhood through the memories of the residents.
